In this house you can admire some original designs and preparatory studies for mosaics and frescos by Professor Biagio Biagetti, the owner's grand father. Eminent restorer, Biagio Biagetti was also a brilliant painter of religious art.In 1921, Pope Benedict XV appointed him Director of the Vatican Museum and Holy Apostolic Palaces.
In 1931, Pope Pius XI, entrusts him with the restoration of the Last Judgement fresco by Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel.
The apartment reflects part of his works and his story. It is few steps from Piazza Farnese and Campo dei Fiori, at walking distance from Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps.
It is located in on the first floor with No lift of a XVI century "Palazzetto" in a little street that surrounds the "Palazzo Farnese", now a day, residence of the French Embassy. You can enjoy this magnificent monument from the living room windows and every time you step out of the main door.
